We provide Race Nights all over the South of England including Essex, Kent, Suffolk, Norfolk, E & W Sussex, Inner & Outer London, In fact we travel all over. Distance is no object

Now is a great time to think about raising valuable funds for your club, organistion or charity.

We are here to help and advise you on setting up your race night. On the night we will do absolutely everything for you from presenting the event to setting up the tote ticket selling and calculations.

On Course Race Nights 2018

Thank you to all of our friends and customers for your support in 2017. We thoroughly enjoyed entertaining you all without exception. I think from the calls and messages we received it was probably our most successful year ever by providing the means for our Clubs, Associations and Charities to raise funds for their respective needs. We now look forward to 2018 with relish, visiting old and new customers.

Thursday 19th October 2017 – Moor Park Golf Club, Rickmansworth. A large well sponsored fund raising Race Night. We organised and attended.

Saturday 14th October 2017 – Race Night at Chingford Athletic FB Club, also at Brightlingsea Community Centre for the association raising funds to pay for urgent roof repair. Well done everybody! Also at Club Woodham, South Woodham Ferrers for Sporting Club Woodham

Saturday 7th October 2017 – Race Night at Romford YMCA. We were also at Worcester Park Athletic Club, Worcester Park.

Friday  6th October 20017 – At Stifford Clays Social Club for Lakeside Football Club. Well organised by Tara. We were also at Solefields Boys School, Otford, Sevenoaks, Kent. And at The Smythe Hall, Stow Maries, Maldon, both fund raising events.

Monday 2nd October 2017 -  The Railway Hotel, Prittlewell, for Vince and Clare who are enthusiastic fund raisers for Great Ormond Street. Once again due to their hard work and great support from friends and customers, a nice sum was raised from GOSH.

Customers and football friends wanted to organise a Race Night to raise some money to help him. Pleased to say it was great success. Well done everyone!!

Sunday 4th December. An afternoon race meeting to celebrate Sandra's 70th birthday at Powerleague, Hainault. A very happy day.

Friday 2nd December. A fun race night for members and guests at Royal British Legion Club, Collier Row, Romford. In aid of their Poppy Appeal

Saturday 26th November. We provided a fun race night for Aldeburgh Yacht Club in sunny Suffolk. (see letter) Our first visit there and hope it won't be the last. Lovely club, lovely people. We were also at Silver End Social Club, Braintree; Coopers Beach Park Resort in East Mersea and at Bentley Village Club in Brentwood

Saturday 12th November. Had a great night entertaining members and guests at Burnham on Crouch Constitutional Club. We visit there once or twice a year, always an enjoyable event. We were also at Peterborough United Football Club; Also at Harold Wood Clubhouse for Harold Wood Athletic FB Club for a fund raiser.

Saturday 5th November. We provided a Race Night for members and guests of Blackmore Golf Society at Chelmsford Golf Club. A regular event now on their calendar. It was a fun night. Thanks to all who took part.

Saturday 29th October. At Galleywood Heritage Centre, Chelmsford for Chelmsford Sub-Aqua Club fund raiser. Well supported and organised. Our first time with them, hope it won't be the last.
We were also at Maldon Sea Cadets, Maldon, Essex. Once again an annual event that we look forward to every year

Wednesday 26th October. Presented a terrific Race Night for Rutherford Briant Recruitment at Colchester Football Club. An annual event, each year surpasses the previous. Raising funds for East Anglian Children's Hospices (EACH). Well done Donna, Yvonne and Sam for great organising. See you all next year hopefully. (see letter n References)

Saturday 15th October. Had a great night once again providing a Race Night for Somersham Football Club, in Somersham, Ipswich. Been with them now on 8 or 9 previous occasions. Everyone a winner, with lots of thanks to Quinny and Keith who is are great fund raisers.  We also supplied Race Nights for Letchworth Sports & Tennis Club, Letchworth, Herts; Tollesbury Royal British Legion, Tollesbury, Essex for the football club; Hatfield Heath Village Hall, Takeley, Essex. All functions were to raise much needed funds.

Friday 14th October. Made our first visit to St John’s School, Billericay. What a great night. Everybody really enjoyed the Race Night; we raised a nice sum of money on behalf of the Parents Social Committee. A well organised event, well done. We also supplied Race Nights for The Haringey Irish Centre, North London raising funds for their charity, and The Cock Inn, Ide Hill, Sevenoaks raising Funds for the village.

Saturday 8th October Presented Race Night for Westbury Community Social Club, Bury St Edmunds, for memebers and friends, our first visit there , everybody had a great time, will look forward to visiting again. We also supplied Chelmsford Conservative Club with a DIY Race Night package.

Friday 7th October. Provided another Race Night for Lakeside Football Club at Stifford Clays, once again a successful evening, well done Tara!

Saturday 1st October. On Course Race Nights at Witham Football Club, raising funds for Lianne who is a teacher going to Kenya for a period of time. Lovely guests had a good time.

Friday 30th September. Went to Foxhall Community Centre in Ipswich to provide another fun race nights for the lovely Brooke. Raising funds for ‘Brooke’s Wish To Walk’ Once again with the help of family and friends a nice sum of money was raised, over £1000 I understand.

We were also at Brightside Primary School, Billericay for the first time, it was a very successful evening organised by the PTA; Also at The Jolly Fenman in Sidcup, with customers and friends, fund raising for their charity

Saturday 24th September. On Course Race Nights at Keene Hall, Galleywood for a fun race night for the Moving On Social Club, it is great fun as well!

Saturday 24th September. A busy and successful night. We were in Lexdon, Colchester for a charity fund raising night; Also at Priory Holiday Park in Nacton, Ipswich; Another holiday park, this time at the Park Dean Naze Marine Park in  Walton on the Naze, both holiday parks were for residents and guests. Both for entertainment only, enjoyed immensely by all.

Saturday 10th September. The second visit this year to The Luney Club, Harwich. Fantastic night with a great bunch of people. Always a pleasure to provide a Race Night for them.

Friday 9th September. Peterborough, LIncs. A memorial Race Night for a departed friend of the organiser. A sad occasion but everybody put on a brave face to raise much needed funds for his widow and family.

Wednesday 7th September. We were at Chelmsford City Race Course, Great Leighs for an afternoon corporate occasion. Dinner followed by a very entertaining talk from former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton, after which the Race afternoon began. Perfect location with great facilities

No postings during August

Saturday 30th July. Another of our regular customers, Bentley Village Club, Brentwood, Essex. It’s always a pleasure to go there. The members and guests are always up for a good night, and Saturday night was no exception. Thank you Karen for your hospitality. See you in November.

Friday 29th July. At Colchester Indoor Bowls Club with a real friendly audience. Had a nice chicken and chips supper to add to the enjoyment of the Race Night. Looking forward already to our next visit.

Saturday 23rd July. Paid a second visit to Woolpit Cricket Club, Woolpit, Suffolk, for a Race Night with players, members and friends. Had a really nice night in a lovely situated clubhouse overlooking the cricket pitches, a lovely and warm night made it complete.

Friday 17th June 2016. Raising funds for Hacton School, Upminster at The Windmill Hall, Upminster. Not huge support but nevertheless a nice sum of money was raised through the generosity of Parents and friends. Most enjoyable.

Thursday 16.06.2016. Ascot Ladies Day Race Afternoon at Kings Park Social Club, Canvey Island. This is a nice place to come at any time, but this day was special. Everybody dressed for occasion, both ladies and gentlemen. Everyone had great time, quite successful for some I might say!

Wednesday 15.06.2016. Ladies Ascot Race Day at The Raleigh Club, Hullbridge, for WINK (Women’s Institute) A lovely evening spent with some happy race goers.

Saturday 4th June. We paid a return visit to The Bull & Willow Room, Great Totham for Great Totham Cricket Club. This is now an annual event, out fourth year I believe. As always a lovely occasion with an excellent fish and chip supper.  We were also at Budworth Hall, Ongar; Bearsted Golf Club, Bearsted, Kent; Silver End Football Club, at the Western Arms Silver End, again an annual event that is always nice to provide for; Thurrock Football Club, Thurrock, Essex. A really busy and successful night everywhere.

Friday 3rd June. A Race Night at Old Chelmsfordians Club House in Roxwell for Chelmsford Referee Society. A really successful night, well organised and very enjoyable.

Tuesday 31st May. RAF Wattisham.  At the Wattisham Childcare Centre raising funds for Centre, great bunch of people!

Saturday 28th May. A really good night at Coggeshall Cricket Club. Race Night, BBQ and Bar, what could be nicer?

Sunday 22nd May. We were celebrating Roy’s 50th birthday with a race night at Langham Community Centre, Langham, Colchester, All profits went to a local hospice which was nice.

Saturday 21st May. A corporate Race Night for Soilfix Ltd of Bristol at Orsett Hall, Orsett. Really enjoyable night with some lovely people. Everybody had a great time. We were also at Groombridge Village Hall, Tunbridge Wells, Kent for Blackham & Ashford FB Club; Woodford Green AC Clubhouse , Woodford Bridge for athletic club.

Friday 20th May. An enjoyable return visit to Garons Park Golf Club for the Captain’s charity evening.  A supper and race night for members and guests. We raised over £800 on the night, well done all. We were also at Tyrells Primary School, Chelmsford where a great night was had by all. See note from organiser.

Then another visit to Jubilee Lodge, Chigwell for residents and holiday maker’s race afternoon entertainment. 

Saturday 14th May. Did not have to travel too far for once. Just half a mile away to Champions Manor Hall, South Woodham Ferrers, for SWF Rotary Club. They are raising funds to build a school in The Gambia. They are doing very well; the building is in the decorating stage at the moment. I remember doing the first Race Night for this project just four years ago; they have all done very well.

Friday 13th May.  Jubilee Lodge, Chigwell for residents and holiday maker’s race afternoon entertainment.

Saturday 7th May. At Maldon Saints FB Club in Maldon again, they were entertaining VV Siol FB Club from Holland whom they have been twinned with since 1977. Really good support from families and friends

Friday 6th May.  Travelled to deepest Suffolk for the residents of Risby. They were raising funds for the sports associations. We have been there several times now to that beautiful village, always a pleasant visit. We also provided another Race Afternoon for guests at Vitality Lodge, Chigwell

Thursday 5th May . Had a lovely night with management and staff of Northern Trust at Canary Wharf.  Provided a race night to raise funds for their charity. Good fun!

Saturday 30th April.  Another successful visit to Keene Hall, Galleywood for one of our long time regulars, Galleywood Youth FB Club. A great time had by all, and very rewarding, they raised over £1200 which was a terrific effort by all.

Friday 29th April .Lovely night at Sunnymede Primary School, Billericay, fund raising event organised by the P.T.A.

Friday 22nd April. Provided a Race Afternoon for guests at Vitality Lodge, Chigwell

Sunday 17th April.

A great afternoon at East Thurrock Community Centre, in support of Ben who is running the London Marathon, in turn supporting Cancer Research. Well done to Charlotte and friends for their great organising leading to a highly successful fun race afternoon

Saturday 16th April.

At Petworth Football Club, West Sussex for bi-annual fund raiser, it was our 14th race night for them, we must be doing something right! Lovely players and friends who support their club. Always an event to look forward to.

We were also at High Easter Village Hall, Essex for High Easter Cricket Club; Bearsted Football Club, Bearsted, Kent; Littlewick Green Cricket Club at Littlewick, Maidenhead

Saturday 9th April

At Horeham Community Centre in Suffolk for Reddington Village Parish Association, who are not funded by local rates and must raise their own finances to support the village. A willing group of people and lovely to work for.

We were also at The Royal Oak, Fambridge Road, Maldon; Clacton Bowling Club, Clacton; and Sunrise Care Home in Sidcup, Kent.

Friday 8th April

We supplied a race night to members of Colchester Golf Club, it was a dinner followed by a trophy presentation and then the racing. Great night.

We were also at Forest Row Centre, Collier Row for a football club fund raising night.

Saturday 2nd April

A welcome return to Chelmsford City Supporters Club at The Venue, CCFBC. This was our 15th visit in 15 years. It is wonderful to have been associated with the club for that length of time; they work so hard giving their support to the football club.

We were also at The Dutch Room, Clacton on Sea for a fund raiser for the local branch of UKIP.

Wednesday 23rd March.

Had a great night at Brompton Barracks Chatham, W.O. & Sgts’ Mess Race Night.  Not fund raising on this occasion, our race night, used as an entertainment proved a great success. Nice time had by all and a great place to visit.

Saturday 26th March

We provided a Race Night for the Bull Restaurant & Bar at Great Totham. They were fund raising for the Starlight Foundation which does so much for terminally ill children. The Bull owners and staff are also running the London Marathon in a few weeks’ time. The Race Night raised a staggering £6000 plus, thanks to its many supporters and the generosity of companies, friends and customers. An amazing effort, well done all.

We were also at Whatfield Village Hall, Suffolk. They have been fund raising over several years now to build a school for children in Gambia. Again with fantastic support from local businesses, friends and supporters. We are pleased to have supplied race nights to them over the last three years in support of their efforts.

At the Masonic Hall, Chadwell St Mary for Claire, raising funds in support of Havens Hospice with the race night and running in the London Marathon.

A club function for Boyce Hill Golf Club, for members and friends; also at The Winston Club
Thursday 17th March.
A Fund Raiser at The Globe Hotel, Colchester, organised by Barclays Bank, Colchester for the charities they support.

Saturday 12th March
At Quarry Hill Junior School for two great girls doing their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, fu8nding a trip to Nepal to assist local people recover from the devastating earthquake last year, very successful night, thanks to all; Also at Redden Court School for a PTA fund raiser; Bentley Village Club providing a race night for members and friends entertainment; Likewise at Burnham Constitutional Club, Burnham on Crouch.

Looking Forward to 2016, and great succes for everybody

Thank you to all of our friends and customers for 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed entertaining you all without exception. I think from the many results I know about it was probably the most successful year ever in helping our Clubs, Associations and Charities to raise funds for their respective needs. We now look forward to 2016 with relish, visiting old and new customers.

We have just a few remaining dates left in January and February. If you would be interested in booking a Race Night during that period check with us to see if we have a suitable date. Thursday 17th December. Last race night of the year for us at The Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London W. A corporate race evening for an American Advertising Company, they hadn't experienced this form of entertainment before and even if I say it myself, it was a tremendous success. I've never seen so many delighted people and excited people. Happy Christmas and New Year to all.

Saturday 12th December. Race Night for the Staff of Spectrum Vehicle Repairers at the Wharf, Dartford. As always the best job to get you in the mood for Christmas. Great time as always; At Capel St Mary Village Hall for the community association's annual fundraiser. We were also at Hutton Cricket Club, Hutton

Saturday 5th December.  Went to Foxhall Community Centre, Ipswich for another welcome visit in support of ‘Brooke’s Wish to Walk’.  Brooke in now a lovely 10 year old young lady, who with the continuing support of her energetic parents Sarah  and Peter and all of her family and friends she is making really good progress thanks to the  very expensive physiotherapy   sessions that’s she has several times a week. All made possible by the love and support of these people. We are proud to be associated with her. We were also at Billingshurst FB Club in West Sussex; and St Barnabas Church Hall in Bexley, Kent for a playgroup fund raiser. Roll On Christmas!!

Friday 4th December.  In Ipswich for a Race Night with the British Army Royal Logistics Corps Reserve Christmas party. We were also at The Ramada Hotel, Hatfield, Herts for SICK (UK) Ltd who were raising funds for Cancer Research.

Tuesday 1st December.  A corporate evening for Amber Securities Plc, Leadenhall Market, London E.  45 men only attended, they were in fine spirits, setting the mood for Christmas

Saturday 28th November. Went to Tollesbury Legion FB Club for a fund raiser, as always a lovely bunch of people and very generous as well. Little Thurrock Dynamos FB Club, in Thurrock, a fund raiser for LTD Irons and LTD Boxers. Big busy night well organised by Claire, well done! We provided a DIY Race Night for Coggeshall Conservative Club.

Friday 27th November. Carl presented a great race night at South Woodham Ferrers Rugby Club, successful night with a great crowd.

Tuesday 24th November. A corporate evening for Essex & Suffolk Water at The Bull & Willow Restaurant & Pub, Great Totham. Really nice evening well catered for by The Bull. A really lovely venue for both dining, drinking or entertaining.

Saturday 21st November. At Stanway Village Hall, Colchester for Stanway Villa FB Club; Also at Thurrock FC Club; Witham RF Club; Writtle Sports & Social Club; Hockley Day Centre.

Friday 20th November. Another visit to a lovely village in Kent. This time at The Cock Inn, Ide Hill, Sevenoaks for Ide Hill Pre-School Playgroup. Not a huge number attended, we were in a lovely pub restaurant, it all had a great atmosphere, very well organised by Sharon, Ian & Matt who headed to committee. A nice sum of money was raised.

Saturday 14th November. A great night at Maldon Saints YFB Club, regular customers now, always a really nice night. Well supported. We were also at Downham Village Hall, Wickford for the community; 8th Scouts Hall, Leigh on Sea for Cats Protection League; Wrentham Village Hall, Wrentham, Norfolk for Medical Research; Bluehouse Community Centre, Laindon for Forest Glade FB Club.

Saturday 7th November. Just visited the Kentish village of Alkham, Kent. Went there to provide a fun race night for the community and had a thoroughly good time. We could have had a bit better support but that did not spoil what was a very enjoyable event for all. We look forward hopefully to a return visit. We were also at O’Gradys Pub in Braintree.                                               

Saturday 31st October. Did another fund raising race night for Stanway Rovers FB Club in Colchester. A really nice football club with a lovely membership. A successful night

Tuesday 27th October. First time visit to Sheerness Holiday Park, Kent. Big holiday centre, but not very well supported this time of year. Nevertheless all had a good time, so did we!

Saturday 24th October. Took a trip to Clacton on Sea, provided a race night for Clacton Bowling Club. What a lovely membership, really enjoyed our visit there, (particularly the Hot Dog Sausages) Well organised night and very entertaining. We were also at Leiston St Margaret Football Club in Leiston, Suffolk. Also at Ipswich Central Conservative Club, Ipswich.  Both clubs really nice regulars.

Friday 23rd October. At Burnham on Crouch Golf Club, annual presentation and race night. Always a good night with them, looking forward already to next year.

Saturday 17th October. Went to Petworth Football Club in West Sussex for a club that has been a long-time customer of ours. It is also one of the oldest registered Football Clubs in the country. The guys and girls there are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Always supporting their club in a really happy and fun way. We were also at Chelmsford Golf Club for a veteran’s race Night; St Luke’s School, Tiptree for Torquespeed Football Club; Writtle Sports & Social Club for Writtle Colts Cricket Club Presentation and Race Night.

Friday 16th October. In Stifford Clays for Lakeside Football Club. A well supported fund raising night for members and friends, looking forward to a return visit very soon. We were also at Haringey Irish Centre for a Charity Race Night.

Saturday 10th October. First ever visit to SDSMA Social Club, Colchester for The School of Martial Arts. They were supporting three Charites. The AA Dog Rescue, East Anglia Children’s Hospice and Colchester Hospital Baby Care Unit. First visit but hopefully not the last. Thank you Jason & Claire. (see references page)

We were also at Chelmsford Bowls Club, Chelmsford; and Foresters Drive Residents Association, Walthamstow

Friday 9th October. At Thurrock Football Club for members, players and guests. Always a nice place to visit. Karen and Tommy do the organising brilliantly, we entertain, a great combination for a good night.

Saturday 3rd October. Had really good night with Orsett Fire Station firefighters, raising funds for Fireman’s Charities. Organised by Scott who did an excellent job, everybody had a great time (see references page)

Monday 28th September. At The Railway Ph in Prittlewell, Southend.  An incredible fund raising event.  Vince and Carol have over three years raised funds for Great Ormond Street GOSH charity. In that time they had raised in excess of £9,000. Tonight we provided another race night for them which raised another £2.800. A fantastic effort by family, friends and customers of the Railway. This took their fund raising total to over £11,000. In recognition of their achievement Great Ormond Street will display a plaque in memory of young  Lily-Marie. Having achieved their target Vince and family intend to continue you their fund raising next year in support of GOSH.

Saturday 26th September. Whatfield Village Hall for friends of Whatfield School; South Woodham Ferrers Village hall, South Woodham for SWF Lions Club who were fund raising for Parkinson’s Disease Charity; The Masonic centre, Great Yarmouth for Masonic Charities; The Mumbai Restaurant, Middlesex Street, London for Aldgate Ward Masonic Lodge 3939 in support of their charities; At Harold Wood Football Club entertaining and raising funds for Harold Wood Cougars FB Club.

Thursday 24th September. At Murray Hall, Loughton. A race night in for the Haslers Foundations, who support so many local charities. A very enjoyable and successful night.

Tuesday 15th September. Our last visit this year to Vitalise Jubilee Lodge, Chigwell. Really enjoyed the last three weeks, lovely people and staff, look forward to the next time

Friday 21st August. At Ford Sports & Social Club for a Fund Raiser Bury Rangers FC. It’s nice to go back to regular customers, Bury are among the nicest. We were also at Dartford Cricket Club.

Saturday 11th July 2015. A return visit to the Loughton Club, Loughton, Essex. Also at Stanway Rovers FB Club

Friday 17th July. First time visit to The Pilot Restaurant & Bar, Dungeness in Kent. Very remote but a very popular place to eat. Packed house.

Saturday 18th July. Another regular football team, this time Western Arms, Silver End, Witham. A great crowd of players and friends. Were also at All Saints Church Hall, Bury St Edmunds for a charity fund raiser.

Thursday 22nd July. Corporate event at Grosvenor Travel Management in London SW1V 1HU.

Friday 23rd July. Attended the annual Garons Golf Park race night at Garons Park, Southend. Always a great night.

Saturday 25th July. Leiston Homeguard, Leiston, Suffolk. Again regular customers for race nights. We were also at Buckhurst Hill Cricket Club for a club race night.

Tuesday 28th July. A corporate evet at the Roslyn Hotel, Thorpe Bay, Essex.

Friday 29th July. At the Royal Naval Association, Southend, for a fund raiser on behalf of Leukaemia & Cancer Research. We were also at Colchester Officers Club, Colchester. This time it was a fun evening with charity in mind.

Friday 7th August. Spent a delightful evening with the Tendring Agility Group, Dog owners and Trainers fund raiser for their Charity.

Saturday 8th August. At Marks Tey Village Hall for the Bob Marriage Memorial race night. WE were also at Diss Golf Club, Diss, Norfolk for a club fund raiser.

Saturday 4th July. What a lovely Independence Day. Spent the evening providing a Race Night for Hornchurch Athletic Cricket Club, tenth consecutive year, fabulous members and friends, raising money for club funds. Well done Paul Crane for you hard work in organising. We were also at Royal Engineers Club in Chelmsford providing a fund raising evening for a memorial event.

Saturday 27th June. On Course Race Nights at Bentley Village Club with an entertainment night for members. We have been there several times now, it is always a great night. Thank you. We were also at Boreham Youth Football Club fo their Presentation and Race Night.

Friday 26th June. Epping Gymnastic Club have been selected to re[resent England at the World Gymnastia Championships 2015 in Helsinki. They have had to raise a lot of money to cover expences and I am pleased to say the Race Night we did for contributed another £2000. Good luck to you all in Helsinki.

Saturday 20th June. Fund Raising and Football Presentation for Aveley YFC at LTD Sports Ground Aveley. Great bunch of managers and players, lot of fun was had, good time by all.

Friday 19th June. Went to Wentworth Primary School, Maldon for the Wentworth Association, raising funds for the school. Our first vist, I hope there will be many more. Lovely night.

Saturday 13th June. At Cranham Social Hall, Cranham,  presented a Race Night for Dagenham Masonic Lodge. Everybody took part to the utmost on the night, raising valuable funds, in particular we raised a lot of money for their charities which were MacMillan Cancer Care and victims of the Nepal earthquake disaster.

Saturday 6th June. Great Totham Cricket Club at The Bull, Great Totham. This was our annual visit. A club fund raiser with which we always do well, well supported. This weekend we were also at Tollesbury Royal British Legion Club for Tollesbury FB Club & at South Woodham Ferrers Rugby Club for a club function..

Friday 29th May. A second visit to Collier Row Royal British Legion. One of the nicest Legion clubs around. Members are terrific. had a great night with them can't wait to back

Sunday 24th May. Made a return visit to Orwell Meadows Leisure Park, Nacton, Ipswich with a Race Night as entertainment for holidaymakers. A really nice night, with an appreciative audience. Can't wait 'til the next one!

Friday 15th May 2015. Travelled down to the village of Burham in Kent to Burham C of E Primary School. A Race Night organised by Helen of the PTA. First time there, hope it won’t be the last. Had a great time.

Sunday 10th May 2015. Oh what a night! Race Night and Presentation. It was for Brentwood YFB Club, they had won the Essex Cup and that day played in the county finals. All in good spirits. Great cabaret by Malcolm ‘Sinatra’.

Saturday 9th May 2015. Paid  a visit to Felsted Royal British Legion Club, as always organised brilliantly by Darren and Sue, must have been our 8th or 9th visit there, lovely people. We were also at Coggeshall Town FB Club, again a regular visit to a nice club.

Friday 8th May 2015. At Stifford Clays Primary School for a fund raiser. We were also at Jardins in Braintree with a Fun Race Night for Carla’s 30th Party.

25th April 2015. Another busy Saturday. I went to LTD Sports & Social Club for LTD Irons & Lionesses YFB Club. Incredibly busy night, 200 people, adults and young players. Had a great time and raised a lot of money for their funds. We were also at Keene Hall, Galleywood for Galleywood FB Club, and another busy and well supported club. Raised an incredible amount of money for them; Dartford FB Club, Dartford for the MPGN-DDD charity’s Luke’s School, Tiptree for Torquespeed FB Club, another great fundraiser.

Saturday 18th April. Had a great night with First Kicks at Hannakens Farm,  Billericay. The object was to raise funds for goalposts for use by the club and community. Over £1000 was raised on the night. Tremendous effort. We were also at Royal Burnham Yacht Club, Burnham, funding for expedition to Malawi; Jack Sibly Pavilion, Epping, fundraiser for London Marathon; Campion Rugby Football Club,  Romford, f or Multiple System Atrophy; Halstead Conservative Club, Halstead. All in all, a very successful week-end

Saturday 11th April. Went to a small village in Suffolk, Redlingfield, they were raising funds to buy more land and improve the village green and to be spent on upkeep of the village, which does not raise a local rate. Lovely people. We were also at Fords Sports & Social Club, Basildon.

Friday 10th April. At Hullbridge Sports & Social Club for U3A. We were also at Corringham Village Hall for Sancto Claro Lodge. Both excellent nights and well attended.

Saturday 28th March. A really nice successful night at Whatfield Village Hall, Suffolk. They were raising money to ‘Build a School in The Gambia’, this was the third time we had done provided a Race Night and once again everybody turned up to do their bit. Well done! We were also at Boyce Hill Golf Club in Benfleet for a members Race Night, again a well-supported night with everybody taking part in great spirits.

Friday 27th March. Busy weekend. We were at St Clere’s School, Stanford Le Hope for St Clere’s Football Team, a real fun, profitable night, thanks to everybody that attended. We were also at South Woodman Ferrers Rugby Club and put on a special Piggy Racing night at Goals in Ipswich.

Sunday 22nd March. Our first visit to The Engineers PH, Leiston, Suffolk. A really nice bunch of customers, very enjoyable. 

Saturday 21st March. One of our longest and most successful Race Night customers. This was our fourteenth annual visit to Chelmsford City Football Club. Once again well organised by Jon, Big John and Paul plus lots of help from Supporters Club members. Always a great night with valuable funds raided for the club. Well done everyone. We were also at Bearsted Football Club, Maidstone; Petworth Football Club, Petworth, West Sussex. 

Friday 20th March. Regular trip down to Stoke Mandeville for Community Association, horrendous drive down but we got there. Great night with Tony & Sue the organisers. Raised a nice sum for the Community Chest. We were also at Hillside School, Sudbury; and Riverside Primary School, Hullbridge.

Saturday 14th March. Fourth annual visit to Rochford Tennis Club, organised perfectly once again by Tracy.  Well attended by adults and youngsters, raising funds to improve clubhouse etc. We were also at the YMCA,  Romford  for Children With Cancer Charity; Also at Leigh on Sea for Leigh Rockets F.C.

Friday 13th March.  Went to Grantham in Lincolnshire for Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven. Really nice people, had a great time raising funds for their projects this year. The Hat competition was won by canny Scot. Will, looking like William Wallace. This was our second visit, hope there will be a third. A very busy weekend, we were also at South Hanningfield Village Hall; Sunnymede Primary School, Billericay; and Club Langley FC , Beckenham, Kent.

Saturday 7th March. A Fund raising Race Nights for a lovely village at Risby in Suffolk. It is their wish to build sports facility that can be used for multi-sports purposes. Everybody had great time and raised a nice sum for the purpose. We were also at Fenlands Club, East Tilbury; Dartford Football Club; and Leiston St Margaret Football Club.

Friday 6th March. Fund raising Race Night for Harold Wood Cougars YFC, organised by Sharon as always an excellent job. Adults and boys had a great time, regular function, getting to know them all quite well now. 

Saturday 28th February. Another visit to Chelmsford City Football Club, this time for the junior section. Very well attended by Mums, Dads, and Players. Really good bunch of youngsters, they really got into it, all very polite which was great. A good fund raising night.

Friday 27th February.  At The Royal Naval Club in Southend for BKS Sports Football Club. It was our first visit but a terrific night. Everybody was up for it and we raised a nice sum of money for their pitch repairs, which are badly needed. See you all next year hopefully.

Saturday 21st February. Made our first visit to The Luney  Social Club, Harwich. It is a lovely homely club, with fantastic membership. Organiser was Ron, who did a great job. They were a pleasure to provide a race night for. All took part with great enthusiasm. Not a fund raising exercise this time, but an entertainment for them that worked very well. Friday 20th February. Another  visit to Friars Community  Centre, Shoebury for the association.  Always a pleasant visit for a race night. Not that well attended but everybody was up for it and had a great time. 

Friday 13th February. I love youth football clubs, they are always so enthusiastic.  A great night with Lakeside  Football Club, Aveley.  Raised a nice amount for the club, all very well organised and successful. 

Satrday 7th February. Paid a return visit to Eye Community Centre, Suffolk for Eye Moors Football Club. Once again a successful night. Everybody who attendind were in good form, and a lot of money was raised for the club. looking forward to next year already.

Saturday January 24th 2015. Attended Westcliff High School for Boys at a Race Night organised by the Parent's Association. This was our 6th annual visit, once again a great success. (see References Page)

Saturday 13th December. Terrific Christmas Race Night for the management and staff of Spectrum Vehicle Repairers, Sidcup, Kent. They are a great bunch of people, it was lovely to go back to them again. Happy Christmas to one and all

Saturday 22nd November. At Downham Village Hall, raising funds to help extend the Village Hall. Successful  night. They are regular customers with us, maybe each year now for the last 9 years. We were also at Chelmsford Golf Club for Blackmore Golf Society and at West Maldon Community Centre for Maldon Saints FB Club

Thursday 20th November 2014. Went to Solihull, Birmingham for Lloyds Banking Group. Well worth the trip, a fantastic night with a great bunch of people

Saturday 8th November. Capel Community Association at Capel St Mary Village Hall. Fund raising for the village, very successful, not the first time we have  been there. Really nice venue. We were also at Buurnham Ramblers FB Club, Burnham on Crouch.

Saturday 1st November. Had a great night with Essex Royals U14’s Football Club at Barn Hall Social Club, Wickford. Raising funds for an overseas trip for the boys. Really good night and good support. We were also at Ipswich Central Conservative Club 

Friday 31st October. At Bury St Edmunds for a Masonic Lodge Race Night. We were also at The Silver Threads Club in Copford with Race Night entertainment.

Saturday 25th October 2014. Went to one of our long standing customers, Somersham Football Club, Suffolk. Fantastic night, they never fail to support their club. Lots of hard work by Quinn. Shame its only once a year. We were also at Galleywood Heritage Centre for a fund raiser.

Friday 24th October. The venue was Burnham on Crouch Golf Club for their Annual Race Night & Presentation, never seen so many cups and trophys, a regular visit every year. We were also at Haringey Irish Centre, N17, raising funds for a children’s charity.  

Saturday 18th October. At Nayland Village Hall. A fund raising Race Night that proved very successful. We were also at The Billet, Stanford le Hope for Stanford Wanderers FBC, Hockley Day Centre, Hockley and Petworth, West Sussex for Petworth FB Club, one of our long established customers, always a pleasure to go there.  

Thursday 16th October. Attended the conference of Chartered Architects and Surveyors at the Marriott Hotel in Swindon. A great venue and a really nice night. Began with dinner for 150 guests the proceeded with a Fun Race Night. Great enjoyment by all.

Diary Friday 10th October 2014. Start of another great weekend, Harold Wood Cougars FBC, lovely bunch of managers, players and supporters. We were fund raising for the club with a great result.

Saturday 11th October.  At Steeple  View Community Centre, Laindon. Organised perfectly by Suzanne and Co. Really good night. We were also at Chelmsford City Football Club, Poplars Hall, Hutton for Brentwood Eels RFC Race Night and Presentation.

Thursday 18th September 2014. The Willow Restaurant, Doddinghurst. A fund raising night  supporting Help For Heroes

Friday 19th September 2014. A trip down to Kent to The Chimney Boy, Faversham. The pub was supporting the local football team Faversham Town FC. A nice big thank you to Nicola for all her hard work. 

Saturday 20th September 2014. We were at Fryerns Social Club, Basildon. Raising funds for their football team Fryern Boys YFC. Well supported that enjoyed. Made valuable funds for them. We were also at Park Holiday Resorts, Walton on the Naze. The night was for fun only, and fun they had. A good night!  

Saturday 27th September 2014. Felsted Royal British Legion Club. A customer now for over six years. Every visit gets better and better. A really nice place to go. We were also at The Holiday Inn, Basildon for Little Haven’s Hospice and at The Western Arms, Silver End for Western Warriors FB Club, where the whole team had their heads shaved for Cancer Research Charity 

Monday 29th September 2014. The Railway Tavern, Prittlewell for The Lily-Marie Brighter Future Fund raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Over £2000 was raised on the night from very generous and supportive guests. A cracking night!

Friday 5th September. Made another nice visit to Kings Social Club, Canvey. Always a good night.

Saturday 6th September. Royal British Legion, Tollsbury for Tollsbury Football Club. A very successful night once again

Friday 12th September 2014. At Stifford Social Club, raising funds for the Smith-Magenis Syndrome Charity. Well organised by Tony and Faye. Everyone had a great time, particularly the youngsters who were magnificent. 

Saturday 14th September 2014. This time West Essex Sports Club, for West Essex Youth Football team. It was a Race Night and BBQ, well attended by adults and youngsters, who once again were great, so polite. Definitely somewhere we would like to go to again.

On Course Diary Friday 27th June 2014. I know I sound like a record, but what another great weekend. Friday at Foxhall Community Centre, Ipswich again for another ‘Brooke’s Wish To Walk’ charity. I know it’s our job but It’s a privilege to be part of the fund raising for 9 year old Brooke. When we first met her a few years ago she was unable walk, a target was set of £100,000 to cover medical costs etc. Through the generosity and enthusiasm of her family and supporters to raise much needed money she is now able to walk on a treadmill sometimes twice a week for about 20 minutes a time and making really good progress. What a girl! WE were also at East Tilbury Community Centre for Cancer Research UK. 

Saturday 28th June 2014. A Fun Race Night for Sainsbury’s, Halstead, celebrating 5 years in that town. What a lovely bunch of guys and girls, the night was full of fun and laughter. Would love to do it again next week! We were also at The Bull, Great Totham for Great Totham Cricket Club.

 On Course Diary Friday 21st June 2014. What a fantastic weekend. Tonight we supplied a Race Night to raise money for 'Help Freddy To Walk Tall' It was brilliant, with all the support from family and friends, we reached an unbelievable target of £3,800. Largely due to Rachel, who was not connected to the family at all, but seeing Freddy's story on Facebook decided to do something for him, and this was the result. Magnificent! Thanks also to Lisa of Aveley Social Club where the function was held for all of her hard work and support. We were also providing an Ascot themed Race Night for club entertainmentat at Tyrells Hall Club, Grays.

Saturday 22nd June 2014. Provided a Race Night at Goals, Chingford for Colebrook Royals U9's FB Club to raise club funds, we made over a £1000.00 with the help of their families and supporters..It was their first ever race night, organised by Sharon, who did a great job it was a huge success (see Sharon's comments on our Recommendations Page). We were also at The Fat Cat Club, Colchester for Tollsbury FB Club

On Course Diary. Saturday 13th June 2014. At Old Brentwoodians RF Club for Brentwood Town Football Club fund raiser. Well organised by Sally. The night included thanks to Barry for his expert management of the team along with his coaches. A signed and framed football shirt was presented to him by the team for his efforts in taking them from bottom of the lowest league to the top of the Premier League in just a few seasons. Making the presentation was 12/13 years old Dominic, who made the presentation and gave a funny, confident speech well beyond his years. An entertainment spot was filled by Rat Pack style singer Malcolm, needless to say was brilliant. I love my job!  

On Course Diary Friday 6th June. Fund Raiser James engaged us to support him in his bid to raise funds for Youth Mentoring In Action, a worthy charity helping those kid’s in need of comfort and guidance. Unfortunately he was let down by quite a few people, nevertheless those that did attend were magnificent in their support, they spent freely making it a worthwhile eveny. 

Saturday 7th June. Went back to one  of my favourite places, Burgess Hill Cricket Club for their annual Race Night & BBQ. (I was told this must be around the 15th consecutive year) You could not meet a nicer bunch of guys, both the girls and the boys support their club on nights like this. Phil, Matt & Ian take credit in getting things together, and it does work!  Nice sum raised. Unexpected visitor (hot air balloon) nearly took out the precious Square. We were also at Whatfield School in Suffolk  and at Danbury Millenium Hall Social Club. 

On Course Diary Saturday 31st May 2014. We were at Diss Town Football Club for Mark, he was attempting to raise £2000 for the EACH Fund (East Anglia Children’s Hospital). With his friends and family he got very close to it, still some hard work to do. It was a pleasure to provide a Race Night for everybody there, they were great!. We were also at Hadleigh Old Fire Station for Motor Neuron Charity, and Sunday 1st June at Vitalise Jubilee Lodge, Chigwell 

On Course Diary Saturday 25th May. Went to a lovely Holiday Park just a stones throw away near Ipswich. Orwell Meadows. It was a Race Night entertainment for holidaying guests. Very enjoyable in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We had a great time with everyone.

On Course Diary Friday 16th May. Went to Unicorn Primary School in Beckenham, Kent. First time there, certainly won’t be the last. Lovely night with lovely people. Raised some good money for the school  Received the following day “Just wanted to say thanks again Howard for a great night. We will definitely have another and I hope other types of events too as we were super impressed! from Tracy, Unicorn School. We were also at the Anglo European School, Ingatestone, The Bat & Ball in Gravesend, The Duke of Sussex, W4 and The Coach & Horses, Strood. Busy Friday!

Saturday 17th May. Attended the annual Presentation and Race Night for Shalford  CFC football club at The Orange Tree, Braintree. What a nice club they are. Well done Ian, always organises a great night, please to serve you. We were also at Claire’s  birthday party in Gravesend.

 On Course Diary Saturday 10th May 2014. It was our first visit to Colchester Royal Grammar School and it proved to be a very successful event. It was a fund raising event on behalf of the school, and considering nobody really knew what to expect, they soon got involved and had a great time. 

We were also at West Maldon Community Centre for Maldon Saints Youth Football Club.

On Course Diary. Friday 2nd May. Had a really good night with Leigh on Sea 4708 Masonic Lodge at Saxon Hall, Southend.  Dinner and Fund Raising Race Night. A really lovely  night with some lovely people.

Saturday 3rd May. We went to Blackmore Community Social Club. The event was to raise enough money to buy a memorial bench for Alan who sadly passed away a while go. His family and friends got together and made it a great evening, raising almost a £1000. His bench is on the way!

 On Course Diary. Friday 25th April. Went to a lovely Club, Harold Wood Neighbourhood Club, purely an entertainment night, no fund raising. A really welcoming place, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did the guests. Very nice people. 

Saturday 26th April. We were at The Turks Head in Twickenham for CRICC, a Cardiff based Rugby Football U11’s team up for a few matches in the London area. Unfortunatley they had a disastrous journey. They left early in the morning by coach, mums and dads as well. They got as far as Membury services on the M4 and that is where they stayed for 5 hours with a broken down coach. They arrived in Twickenham at 6.50pm instead of 4.30pm, missing their swimming treat on the way up. Dinner was rushed so that they could vacate the show room before a comedy event started. We set up the race for them in the garden area under a large gazebo, where the boy and parents enjoyed four of our special Piggy races. Great fun and excitement. The boys really enjoyed it and it made up an awful lot for the days mishaps. See you again chaps! 

We were also at Colchester Indoor Bowls Club and Tilbury Community Centre for Essex Comets FB Team.

 

On Course Diary. Saturday 19th April. At The Royal Standard in Blackheath, South London, the charity they were raising money for was the Willow Foundation who are dedicated to bringing special days to the seriously ill who are between the ages 16 and 40 years of age and live in the United Kingdom. Not a huge attendance but at the end of the day we did raise around £200 for them. Well done landlord Jim.

We were also at Petworth Football Club in West Sussex and Navestock Village Hall for Jordan who is raising money to fund her World Challenge six day trip to Iceland. Both very successful events.

On Course Diary. Friday 11th April 2014. Went all the way to Winsdor, Berkshire for All Saints YFB Club for an end of season race night and party. They had a really good season, congratulations to all concerned. No fund raising, just pure entertainment. 

Saturday 12th April 2014. It was Broomfield YFB Club this week. They were entertaining their friends of 30 years Sparte Werlta YFB Club from Germany. They exchange visits every two years. They are two really nice football clubs, well done boys. We entertained them all with Horse, Greyhound and Piggy Races. It was a brilliant night.

We were also at Leiston Home Guard Club in Suffolk, Hullbridge Yacht Club for The Lodge of True Harmony and Ipswich Central Conservative Club, Ipswich 

On Course Diary. Friday 4th April. What a weekend! Friday at Aveley Social Club for Kelly. She is taking on the ‘Walk the Walk’ challenge. She is doing three ‘marathons’, London, Edinburgh and Iceland, all in a matter of weeks. She is a great fund raiser for her cause. Her race night was well attended by family and friends. Good luck to you Kelly.

We were also at Walthamstow Cricket Club, Fryern Manor and Corringham Village Hall. All good functions

Saturday 5th April. I made a return visit to Barn Hall Social Club for Essex Royals U14’s FB Club. They are going to Belgium to play in a football competition in two weeks. This last fund raiser was to make sure they eat well, all the rest has been raised by race nights, bag packing etc. Pat and Dean have had the support of many of the FB Club members and players, well done.

We were also at Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club, South Hanningfield Village Hall and Tilbury Community Centre.

 

On Course Diary. Friday 28th March. Attended a fund raiser for Sandway village, nr Maidstone. in support of their school, Platts Heath Primary (60 pupils). It is a very small close knit community, and they all came together in support. We raised a nice sum of money for them. Thank you all for making us so welcome, together we had a great time.

Saturday 29th March. Went to one of our many regulars, Diss Town FB Club in Norfolk, always a good night. They are a great bunch of supporters and players who always support their club in fund raising events. Well done Mark for organising.

This week we also had race nights at Bures Village Hall for Twinsted Cricket Club. Burnham Constitutional Club. Clacton Outdoor Bowling Club and a charity night organised to 'Help Freddie Walk' in South Ockendon

1st March. Traveled to Barkston, Lincolnshire for a Rotary Club fund raiser, a great evening. Rotary supports so many local and international charities that every penny that is raised goes to very good causes. We were also at F.R.O.S.P. Collier Row Catholic Club and at Sunnymede Junior School, Billericay.

Saturday 22nd March. A Big Big night at Phoenix Junior School, Basildon for Chalvedon Boys FB Club. Very well attended by adults and players. Over 200 in all. Everybody had a great time and raised a lot of money. Good effort by Jon for organising. We were also at Maldon Sea Cadets.

On Course Diary Friday 14th March. Spent a great evening with Stoke Mandeville Community Association, raising money for their community projects. Fourth time there in four years, each time just gets better. Well done to organizers Tony and Sue.

Saturday 15th March. Another long distant trip, this time to Egerton in Kent, this was a fund raiser for the local primary school. It was good fun, the PA put on a good welcoming event and we provided the entertainment with our race collection. Again a place we had been to before and it proved just a successful as the the last time.We were also at Fenlands Club, East Tilbury for Linford Wanderers FB Club

On Course Diary Friday 7th March. At Long Ridings Primary School in Hutton. Fund raising for the PA. Not  too many people attended but those that did enabled us to have a lot of fun, and we made some good money as well. 

Saturday 8th March. One of our oldest customers. Chelmsford City FB Supporters Club. We have been with them now for 15 years, every year just gets better. This year was no exception, Fantastic support, fantastic people, and as always raised a lot of money. Thank you to everyone. This weekend we were also at Canon Roche Social Club, Billericay for 'Get Kids Going' and at The Fireman's Club, Aveley for Little Thurrock Irons & Harriers YFB Club

On Course Diary Friday 28th February. Kings Social Club on Canvey Island. What a great bunch of people. Very busy night. Good time had by all. We were also in Rayleigh.

Saturday 1st March. In Ashingdon Village Hall for Rochford Tennis Club. One of our regular customers, always nice to go there. Well done Tracey for your organizing. We were also at Westcliff High School for Bays and Westcliff High School for Girls, both sides of the road that night. Again both regular customers fund raising for their schools.

 On Course Diary 21st February 2014.  Fund raising tonight in support of Harold Wood Cougars Y.F.C.. Organised by Sharon, and a great job too. Good attendance, and a nice amount raised for the team.

Saturday 22nd February 2014. A not for profit Race Night/Buffet tonight at the White Hart Inn, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. Set up by dep. Manager Jack. It was the first time he had tried race nights as an entertainment, it went great with his customers. Together we had a smashing night, lots of fun and laughs. I think everybody had a good win during the course of the evening. Looking forward to returning in the future. 

On Course Diary, Friday 7th February. At Aveley Working Men’s Club for Little Thurrock Dynamos, Hawks & Falcons junior football teams. It was a fund raiser and it was very well supported. It was lovely that the youngsters enjoyed the evening so much. Organisers were Neil and Anita and they did a great job. Will look forward to returning there another time.

On Course DiarySaturday 8th February. Provided a Race Night for our good friend Terry Dignum at Barking Rugby Union Football Club. What a great club that is. Despite a heavy defeat the team keenly supported the night. Raised a nice sum of money for them. Cabaret was provided by the team featuring their world famous ‘Drinking Race’ the ‘Boat Race’. I am glad to say the first team won the event. Another club it is always nice to return to.

We were also at Leigh on Sea for Cruse Southend, Cats Protection Southend, 8th Leigh Scouts, and Rotary Club of Hadleigh . In all a great weekend.

Saturday February 1st 2014. What a splendid night, TKO Boxing Gym, Canning Town. In support of a 7 year old lad who is struggling with his health at the moment. A heart warming and successful night. Well done Kevin for getting almost 200 people together for the occasion

Friday 31st January. On Course Diary. All the way down to Graveney in Kent last night, in horrendous weather, terrible traffic, only to find the venue was closed, it had been broken into three nights before, totally wrecked. Under the circumstances, nobody remembered they had a confirmed booking with us. So consequently, we were not told. Hey Ho, a rare occurrence but very annoying. Artists impression..

Saturday 14th December. A great Saturday night with Jays Youth Community Club in Dagenham. A long established club with very enthusiastic supporters. Organised by Lawrence and his helpers, it was a fun night, raising valuable funds to support the club.

Friday 6th December. It s all Football Clubs at the moment, raising funds for various projects. We were at Fords Sports & Social Club, Basildon for Berry Rangers YFC, have been associated with them for many years now. Well organised by Dave and well supported by his team.

Saturday 7th December. A trip down to Cheltenham, Gloustershire to the Chase Hotel. Beautiful venue, Tesco management booked there for a Christmas Race Night. For a change not fund raising, but an entertainment using 'Funny Money' to bet with which we supply. They were a great bunch of people. WE shall look forward to seeing them again.

We were also at Chelmsford Social Club for Ravens Youth FBC Christmas race Night.

Friday 29th November 2013. We supplied Essex Royals U14's FBC with a Race Night at Barn Hall Community Centre, Wickford,  It was to raise funds to help finance a footballing trip to Belgium  It was very well supported and we raised a nice sum.

Saturday 30th November saw us at Downham Viage Hall for another race Night in support of the Village fund. A regular visit that was for us, probably our 8th annual visit. They are a great communty and their fund raising is well supported. It is always a pleasure to go there

This weekend we were also at Winston Club, Basildon, Halstead Conservative Club, Clacton Indoor Bowls Club & Bentley Community Cemtre

On Course Race Night Diary. Friday 22nd November

We were at Chafford 100 Com. Hall for Kate who was raising funds for Chafford 100 Pre School and The Family Network who support young people in Special Needs. A lovely family night.

Saturday 23rd at Shotgate Village Hall, Wickford. This time the organiser was Neil who works tirelessly for his charities. The time it was for the benefit of 'Shout It Out' who aid children with speech therapy and language. very well supported and a great result. Everybody so involved and happy. (see photo) Busy weekend in all. We also had race Nights in Colchester, Wickford, Blackmore and Wrentham, Norfolk. Another very busy one next weekeend. 

Really nice Friday 15th and Saturday 16th  race nights.

Friday entertaining Chelmsford Chieftains Ice Hockey Club, well organised by Andy, and well supported by players and supporters. Not so much a fund raiser but more as a social gathering that worked very well. Saturday at Burnham Constitutional Club, again not a fund raiser but an entertainment feature. Lovely guests who really got involved, some great payouts particularly on the last race on which several people had the best wins of the night. Entertainment organiser Doug did a great job.
